The country wants to reduce its greenhouse gas emissions by 50 to 55% by 2030 (compared to 2005 levels), in particular by developing and using more renewable energy. These should then represent between 23 and 25% of gross final energy consumption. To decarbonise the transport sector, the Grand Duchy has also committed to encouraging the development of electromobility and related infrastructures.
Consume less and and more efficiently
While the Luxembourg State has a central role to play in the energy transition, each consumer can also make a contribution. How can they do so? By reducing their energy consumption but also by consuming better, more sustainably.
This can be achieved through a number of small or large-scale actions to be taken on a daily basis: adopting eco-gestures, choosing your heating and lighting equipment carefully, renovating your home to make it more energy efficient, favouring green energy, turning to more sustainable mobility, equipping yourself with technological tools to monitor and better control your energy consumption, etc.
In this section, Enovos informs you and advises you on how to consume better and save energy on a daily basis.
