Energy Sharing Service: share your solar energy, with Enovos

What is energy sharing?

The principle is simple: renewable electricity producers equipped with solar panels share their surplus energy with a group of consumers.

The result? Producer members optimize the use of their surplus energy instead of injecting it entirely into the grid, by selling it at a fair price that is often more attractive than standard feed-in tariffs.

As for consumer members, they benefit from locally produced green energy, with the opportunity to reduce their energy costs.

Who can create or join an energy sharing group?

Whether you are an individual, an SME, or a municipality, you can create or join a sharing group.

There are different types of energy sharing groups, depending on the location and the type of members:

• Renewable Collective Self-Consumption (ACR): Ideal for neighbors in the same building sharing solar energy. In this type of group, grid fees do not apply to the shared energy.
• Local Collective Self-Consumption (AC1): Perfect for SMEs or households located very close to one another. Grid fees do not apply to the shared energy.
• Multi-Site Self-Consumer (APS): For a single entity sharing its energy across several sites. Grid fees apply to the shared energy.
• Local Energy Community (CEL): Brings together citizens, SMEs, and local authorities around a local project within a distance of 300 m. Grid fees do not apply to the shared energy.
• Renewable Energy Community (CER): For projects on a national scale or communities whose members are located more than 300 m apart. Grid fees apply to the shared energy.
