“I was born in Cameroon and came to Europe at the age of 11. Despite my young age, I could already see how access to electricity changes lives…”

Unfortunately, not everyone has access to electricity. Enovos has therefore decided to commit itself to ensuring that children in Africa too can benefit from this privilege throughout their schooling.
This is why Enovos signed a partnership agreement with the Non-Governmental Development Organisation PADEM (Programmes d’Aide et de Développement pour les Enfants du Monde) on Thursday 27 June 2019, with the aim of co-financing a major 4-year school electrification project in Senegal.
Aiming to electrify schools while improving the safety of children and staff, this project will significantly contribute to the quality of life and future prospects of its beneficiaries. Magali Getrey, founder of PADEM, is delighted that the project has come to fruition: “At last, students and teachers will be able to study and teach in appropriate conditions… Imagine having to travel 4 km round trip by bicycle just to make photocopies!
Over the next 4 years, Enovos will provide financial support to the project, pass on its expertise in electrification and promote the project in all its forms under its motto “Energy for today. Caring for tomorrow”. “This project reflects the values of our company and the open-mindedness that we want to transmit on a daily basis. In addition, the participation of employees will create a real cohesion through a common commitment”, said Claude Simon, Head of Energy Sales at the signing of the partnership.
