You have surely all noticed the effects of climate change on the environment (floods, heat waves, hurricanes, etc.). In order to minimise these disasters, we all know which solution to turn to: renewable energies. They provide sustainable answers to the adverse effects on health, economy, safety and the environment. This is why, as a responsible company and a key player in the energy transition, Enovos is committed to sustainable development in the Grand Duchy by responding to the call for tenders for the construction of large-scale photovoltaic installations launched by the Luxembourg government. The expedition towards the future begins successfully…
Thanks to strong partnerships with various local companies that are also committed to sustainable development (RTL Group, Cactus, Panelux, POST Luxembourg, Kichechef and Luxtram), by the end of 2019 we will be installing photovoltaic installations that correspond to the consumption of around 2,800 households.
Promising projects
The first two ground-mounted solar parks in Luxembourg will be developed in cooperation with RTL Group. Photovoltaic panels with a capacity of 7.2 MW will be installed on the ground under the broadcasting antennas in Junglinster and Beidweiler.
Further plants with a capacity of 4.3 MW will be installed on the roofs of industrial and professional partners. It is imperative for companies to act together!
