Everyone has the right to energy to write their stories. That’s why Enovos has made it its mission to participate in the inclusion of all, and in particular children with disabilities, by donating an adapted swing to Parc Merveilleux .
Inclusion for all, now and everywhere
Contrary to what one might think, it is up to society to adapt to people with disabilities by taking into account the specificities of each person, and not the other way around.
Even if more and more progress is being made (reserved parking spaces and public transport, sound for the visually impaired on pedestrian crossings, buildings designed according to accessibility standards, sports or music lessons adapted to specific needs, etc.), there is still a lot of work to be done and more improvements to be made to facilitate the daily life of these people, especially for the most vulnerable among them, including children.
These improvements are first and foremost moral: society’s view of disability discriminates even more and encourages exclusion. This is where Enovos comes in and, by installing this swing, offers children in wheelchairs the same moments of joy and fun as other children. Moreover, they will grow up in a climate of tolerance because they will be used to attending “mixed” and non-discriminatory playgrounds, adapted to all the situations that each child may experience in life.
