enodrive: a new look and experience

Today, more than half of all new vehicles registered in Luxembourg are powered by electricity. The adoption of electromobility has accelerated considerably in the last two years. To support this development, the Enovos enodrive application, used for supporting our users throughout Europe with the aim of making their lives easier, has had a makeover.

Electric mobility continues to grow in Luxembourg, with the latest figures showing a considerable acceleration in electromobility. In fact, between 2022 and 2023, registrations of 100% electric cars jumped by 72%. Last year, one in every two new cars sold had an electric engine.

Quiet, easy-to-manoevre, responsive and ultra-connected, all while being environmentally friendly and more economical to use, the electric car offers a new experience.

Barriers to adoption gradually being lifted

However, there are other elements that come into play, as the fears and barriers surrounding electromobility are gradually being lifted:

Of course, the adoption of these vehicles is strongly supported by state incentives and an attractive purchase bonus as well as perks for employees.

Just a few years ago, few could have imagined that one in two cars on the road would operate without the use of fossil fuels. Times have changed, as has the way we view electromobility.

  • Due to efforts made by manufacturers, the range of electric vehicles continues to improve;
  • the infrastructure ensuring that users can find charging points wherever they go continues to grow;
  • although the purchase price remains expensive, the total cost of using the vehicles is now more advantageous than that of a thermal car.

Lastly, feedback from our ever-increasing number of users confirms the reliability of the electric car and the many advantages of its use.

The enodrive application has a new look

Enovos has been supporting their customers through this change for several years now through the use of their enodrive solution. Our aim is to simplify your access to charging solutions wherever you are in Europe, by offering you preferential rates throughout Luxembourg and making your life easier. With this in mind, the enodrive application, available free of charge on iOS and Android, has had a makeover and donned a new logo. Its new interface now shows you nearby charging stations throughout Europe even more easily, giving you access a network of more than 200,000 stations.

On the app, you can view in real time the available terminals and the electricity rates for each of them. It also gives you the option to stop your charge remotely, check the status of the charge in progress or even your charge history.

Like the application, the enodrive website also has new colours and simplified navigation. Here you’ll find essential information on our services and the answers to any questions you might have.

A new badge to pay for your top-ups with a single tap

Using our service is easier than ever with the enodrive badge, which replaces the enodrive zen card. Attached to your key ring, it enables you to activate charging with a single tap at the 200,000 terminals in the network, across Luxembourg and throughout Europe. You no longer need to take out your wallet or use a bank card.

Outside Luxembourg, electricity prices depend on the supplier or owner of the terminals. Connecting to an ultra-fast charging station is more expensive than to a private or public charging station. In Luxembourg, with the enodrive badge, you benefit from a preferential rate for all charging on the Chargy and SuperChargy network.

Your badge can be ordered directly via the enodrive app, upon creating your account. It will be delivered to your home within a few days and activating it takes just a few seconds, also via the app.

The badge costs just 12 euros (and is even free for ACL members).

You will then receive a monthly invoice detailing all of your charges and your exact consumption.

In case of any queries, you now benefit from a 24/7 service line, which you can reach at 8006-6008 from Luxembourg and at +352 2737-6008 from abroad.
